Case Studies
Team Dynamics - 'Big 4' Australian Bank
A 'big 4' Australian bank established a new extended leadership structure within its IT division.
A number of 'high performing team' workshops were deployed amongst key groups of senior leaders within the new structure using psychological assessment data and a range of activities designed to accelerate high performing team formation rapidly. Of particular interest was the focus on moving the teams from 'conflict avoiding' behaviours to developing skills amongst leaders in giving high quality feedback and coaching
Executive Search - Financial Services
Engaged by the Remuneration Committee of the Board, an Executive Search process was supplemented by independent analysis of all candidates to understand key motivators and drivers, signature strengths, potential derailers and key elements of leadership style.
The outcome benchmarked all internal candidates against the external shortlist, and was separate from the Search process, providing an independent, 'evidence-based' view of the behavioural styles of each candidate, and validating the search process.
Assessment for Recruitment - Professional Services
A Professional Services firm have used psychological assessment for approximately 8 years, when recruiting candidates, especially to determine cultural fit and values alignment.
Now the existing data is used to look at the likely performance of a group of individuals as a team, the capacity of members to work effectively together and what are some of the behavioural characteristics that might prevent them being 'all they can be.'
